Dr. William Billups is a very valued & seasoned surgeon that was born and raised right here in Meridian, MS. Educational Background
William A. Billups III, MD finished his post-secondary schooling at Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, in 1987. He later finished his medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. After finishing medical school, he and his wife moved to Dallas, TX, to begin his surgical training. In 1996, he finished his general abscission residency at the University of Texas Southwestern, home of the world-famous Parkland Memorial Hospital. Following his practice, he returned home to Meridian, MS, and has been practicing medicine right here ever since. He is a two-time board-certified general surgeon.
